Revolax Filler Line
Revolax is a collection of highly crosslinked hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, each with its own distinctive qualities and applications. The Revolax range includes three different products: Fine, Deep, and Sub-Q. Revolax fillers are available with and without lidocaine.
Revolax Deep
Revolax Deep is a HA gel with medium viscosity. It is effective for the treatment of deep wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and augmentation of the cheeks, chin, and lips.
Revolax Fine
Revolax Fine is the thinnest and lightest dermal filler in the Revolax family. The product is used for augmenting the lips and treating the signs of aging in the delicate areas of the face, including crow’s feet, neck wrinkles, and glabellar lines.
Revolax Sub-Q
Revolax Sub-Q is the thickest and most viscous filler in the Revolax collection. It works best for the correction of severe facial wrinkles and augmentation of the cheekbones, chin, nose, and jawline.
Benefits of Usage
- Correction of superficial to deep wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, perioral lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles;
- Contouring and augmentation of the cheeks, chin, nose, and jawline;
- Lip enhancement, including Russian lips.
Contraindications
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women;
- Individuals under the age of 18;
- Patients with a known hypersensitivity to HA or lidocaine;
- Patients who are prone to developing hypertrophic scars;
- Skin infection or inflammation in the area to be treated.
Side Effects
After receiving a Revolax filler injection, patients may develop localized skin responses, such as bruising, swelling, redness, and pain. These inflammatory reactions are minimal, and they should go away by themselves once the skin has fully recovered from the treatment.
Precautions
A Revolax treatment is a medical procedure that should only be performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner in strict adherence to aseptic standards. The patient is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, UV light, extreme cold, and heat for two weeks following the injection, as well as to refrain from wearing makeup for 12 hours.
Duration of Effects
According to the manufacturer, the various Revolax dermal fillers may last approximately:
- Revolax Deep — 12-18 months
- Revolax Fine — 9-12 months
- Revolax Sub-Q — 12-18 months
